The cabin is located on Mt. Sherman, and one mile down a well-maintained dirt road (County Road 141) from Hwy 74W.  The cabin is 8 miles east of Ponca and 6 miles west of Jasper, right in the center of everything that’s happening!

Yet, the cabin is secluded and private. It bumps up to the Buffalo National Park on the north side and is bordered on the west by a 900-acre pasture and grazing cows.  More wooded acres lie to the east. 

This location makes the cabin the perfect base camp from which to plan a variety of activities:  Consider hiking a trail from the cabin, floating the Buffalo, going caving, and watching the elk herd in Boxley Valley.  The list goes on and on.

The cabin is also the perfect base camp from which to plan a variety of day trips:

• Ninety minutes drive to Branson, the country music capital.

• An hours drive to the Great Passion Play, galleries, shows, and crafts that are in Eureka Springs.

• Ninety miles to the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, MO.
